We replaced (80) 1000 watt metal halide high bay fixtures with (80) Essentials Series 4.0 LED high bays utilizing 459 watts and 73,000 lumens each. The annual, recurring energy savings from the project are $28,000. C.M. Mockbee worked with Duke Energy to secure a one-time, $20,000 incentive helping to generate a return on investment for the project of 2.3 years.
The new Flex LED high bays raised the light levels in the hangar by 35%, while reducing energy consumption by 54%!
