We retrofitted over 5,100 fluorescent fixtures, upgrading to LED utilizing Orion’s cutting-edge LDR technology across the district and secured over $475,000 in incentives from Duke Energy to help justify the project and create a favorable payback, generating annual energy savings of over 50% and eliminating costly maintenance expenses for the legacy fluorescent lighting systems.
